Dear friends and supporters,
I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you. Yesterday, you helped me secure the most votes in the Democratic Primary for State House from District 25.
With your support, we garnered 43% of the vote in a three-way race.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ken Davis, who ran a strong, positive campaign and helped me reach out to all corners of the district. I also want to thank my husband, Bob Fleming, for his steadfast support and encouragement. And I congratulate Ruben Ortega on his victory.
Now it’s on to the General, where the choice before the voters is clear: either we continue empowering Republicans like David Stevens and Peggy Judd to starve our public schools and cut benefits to veterans while giving away larger tax subsidies to the wealthiest Arizonans and raising our property taxes, or we choose principled Democratic leadership that will always put Arizona families first.
I plan to continue to serve you as that principled leader, but I need your help.
Now is the time to kick our volunteer voter-contact efforts into high gear. If you can volunteer with the campaign, by making phone calls, helping with mailings, knocking on doors or tabling at events, please let us know.
